Because your story deserves care, compassion, and healing.
I am a licensed mental health therapist in the state of Utah and have worked with children, adolescents, and adults for almost 20 years. I have practiced in multiple treatment environments, including residential, in-home, school-based, and outpatient milieus, which has given me a deep understanding of the diverse challenges people face.
I have received intensive training in Relational EMDR Therapy and Structural Family Therapy, and today I specialize in supporting older adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma. I believe strongly in the possibility of healing from painful or disturbing life events. My approach focuses on helping clients resolve past and present experiences while recognizing and building on their own strengths and resources to support lasting growth.
I am an EMDRIA Approved Trainer, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, EMDRIA Certified Clinician, and a member of the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). I earned my undergraduate degree (BA) at Carleton College and completed a Master’s (MA) in Counseling Psychology at Boston College.
As a faculty member of the Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy, I provide Consultation in Relational EMDR, a model I have studied extensively with Deany Laliotis over the past four years. I find her Relational EMDR approach to be most effective and efficient in foundational and sustainable healing and personal growth.
